Love Island fans are saying the same thing over a “never seen” moment in the villa after an explosive argument broke out.
Last night’s episode (June 27) saw Remell, Ben and Harry, along with Toni, Shakira and Megan in the bottom six. After voting for their least favourite person, it was Remell and Megan who were sent home from the villa after the first of the public votes.
Tensions have been high in the villa in recent days, but Friday evening saw an explosive row break out between Toni and Helena. It came after Helena and Harrison shared a kiss in the hideaway after she broke it off with her partner Giorgio.
After watching them walk to the hideaway, Toni could be heard calling Helena “weird” and a “sneaky b****”. Later speaking to Harrison, she told him: “You’re ******* weird for doing that….. why’d you have to do that?”
Confirming she was “done” and “over” her partnership with Harrison, Toni said: “She literally sits there in my ******* face and smiles at me… you’re weird.”
After walking away, later scenes showed the US bombshell pull Helena for a chat where she asked “why would you do it to me?” as Helena replied: “It’s not my fault he took me to the hideaway and kissed me.”
Toni fumed: “You’re going to sit here and ruin my good thing because you don’t have one.”
She later added: “Thanks for ruining a good thing girl, really.”
And as Shakira and Harrison argued about his actions, they were soon interrupted by a text, telling all islanders to head to the fire pit before it was announced two people with the least votes would be leaving. And eagle-eyed viewers have spotted a “never seen” before moment in this series amid the tension.
Over on X, one person said: “I鈥檝e never seen such a divide with the ladies in #LoveIsland history.” Another wrote: “I鈥檝e never seen such a divide in love island, this is nuts lmaooo.”
A third added: “We know it鈥檚 not friend island but this is the first season I鈥檝e seen where there鈥檚 a very clear divide in the girls.”
A fourth commented: “I am absolutely LIVING for how divided the girls are this series. We鈥檙e used to 鈥渟isterhood鈥 with all of them but this divide before Casa even hits is part of what makes this series good.”
Another penned: “I swear there鈥檚 never been a girl divide like this before”, as one person echoed: “I feel like the divide this year is so much more prominent than other years.”
Love Island continues Sunday night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
