It’s common for people to dream about living a life that they watch their favourite K-drama or C-drama character live- after all, what else would explain social media being full of netizens sharing all kinds of fantasies and whatnot- through stories, sketches and such. With that said, one can only imagine the hyped-up reaction that most netizens gave after an Indian student and YouTuber gave her ‘China University Dorm Tour’- which was quick to allegedly remind many of C-Dramas. Taking to YouTube, the student- Saloni Choudhary- shared a 17-minute dorm tour of her university, where she covered several parts of the dorm, along with some rather impressive facilities that students get to use for free. As per the post, Choudhary is studying at the university on a scholarship and shares a room with two other roommates. From cleanliness, well-maintained infrastructure and dorms being coed to free and advanced facilities, and more- there were several pointers that left netizens impressed. Many even compared the same with Indian colleges and hostels, while some commented on how Choudhary was living their ‘C-Drama dream’. The video went viral in an instant. The video was shared on YouTube, by the handle ‘Saloni Choudhary’. The video was shared two weeks ago and pulled 443K views from people. The one Thing I personally loved was the neatness and cleanliness. Leaving at a place like this can surely bring me mental peace, more productivity, good health, and the ability to feel more and more free,” a user said. “This gives the look of the whole c-drama,” added a second person. “Your dorm looks straight out of c-drama, pretty and quite realistic, have a good and safe time in china,” added a third person. “Just a tip– you should really blur out things like room no., etc for safety measures,” added a fourth person. “Wooo your dormitory is so cool! It seriously feels like I’m visiting the girls’ dorm from one of my favorite Chinese dramas… Love O2O vibes all over! So dreamy and aesthetic!” added another.
