On Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray holding a ‘Victory Rally’ in Mumbai today, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Anand Dubey told news agency PTI, “It is a very important day today. When Gujarat and Maharashtra became separate states in 1960, there used to be a lot of excitement in Mumbai. It is a day to remember the sacrifices of people. This is not a political event, but a social event. It is a win of Marathi culture. People are seeing what Shiv Sena is. We have also invited BJP, but I feel that BJP people have a grudge on Maharashtra. A message will go that Marathi is first for us.”
