External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, speaking in Washington, DC after the Quad meeting, asserted India’s zero-tolerance stance on terrorism, warning that perpetrators, supporters, and enablers will face consequences. Referring to Operation Sindoor and the May 7 attacks, he emphasized India’s right to defend itself. Jaishankar also held key bilateral talks with Quad counterparts, covering trade, defense, energy, and technology, including meetings with US, Australian, and Japanese officials.
