If there鈥檚 any Hrithik Roshan film after War 2 that has audiences truly excited, it鈥檚 the long-awaited superhero drama, Krrish 4. While the news of Priyanka Chopra returning to the cast has already delighted fans, there鈥檚 now an even bigger update: Preity Zinta and veteran actress Rekha are also reportedly joining the ensemble.
According to reports, Hrithik Roshan is set to play a triple role in this multi-starrer. Instant Bollywood quoted a source saying, 鈥淭he plan is for Krrish to move through different timelines, past and future, to eliminate a major threat. While high on VFX and production, the film will stay rooted in family emotions and relationships.鈥
While there has been no major update about the script or storyline, it has been confirmed that the next instalment, marking Hrithik Roshan鈥檚 directorial debut, will feature elements of time travel, which will be a fresh and unique concept for Bollywood.
Currently, pre-production work for Krrish 4 is underway at YRF Studios, with a dedicated VFX team working on the film鈥檚 pre-visualisation. Hrithik is closely collaborating with his team of writers and Aditya Chopra to fine-tune the script. The film is expected to go on floors in the first quarter of 2026. Krrish 4 will also mark the return of Jadoo, 23 years after the release of Koi鈥 Mil Gaya.
Earlier, rumours were suggesting that Chinese singer-rapper and global sensation Jackson Wang would be part of Krrish 4. However, he has firmly denied such speculation. In a candid video interview shared by the Press Trust of India (PTI), the GOT7 star addressed the viral rumours, calling them 鈥渇ake news鈥 and explaining how the misinformation began.
鈥淚t鈥檚 fake news. It鈥檚 a big movie, and I鈥檝e never acted before, so it鈥檚 impossible for me,鈥 Jackson said, laughing off the claims. 鈥淚t was just a joke between me and a friend, so it was meant as entertaining news,鈥 he added, referring to the unnamed friend who sparked the speculation.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Hrithik Roshan is currently busy promoting his upcoming action thriller War 2. The movie features Hrithik Roshan in the lead role, with Jr NTR playing the main villain. The film also stars mom-to-be Kiara Advani in a lead role.
