Ahn Hyo-Seop infused life into the character of Jinu in Netflix’s recent hit animation KPop Demon Hunters. While the Korean star’s voice debut left audience thrilled, many were surprised with his English speaking skills. The musical, that’s already breaking into global charts with its hugely successful soundtrack, has more to make merry. Ahn recently shared a gift for his fans by crooning the movie’s hit song Free. For the unversed, the Business Proposal actor trained to debut as an idol, but shifted to acting instead of turning a singer. But he time and again keeps brining back his singing prowess with some attempt or another. It is worth taking note how he embodies his character Jinu bringing the character to life. Fans go berserk hearing Ahn’s voice Ever since Ahn shared his version of Free, netizens haven’t stayed calm. Many took to X and posted their reactios. One user wrote, “Ahn brought jinu to life with every single note 😭 like he wasn’t just singing… he was the character fr.” Another one said, “I love it so much please do the full cover and I need this on stream.” One fan was in awe. They reacted, “I don’t understand why they didn’t use his voice for singing. I prefer his voice more, no offense to the singer they chose.” A comment on Instagram read, “WE WERE ROBBED! According to FlixPatrol, it ranked No. 1 in Netflix’s Top 10 Films category for 11 consecutive days, ever since the film released on June 20. Its music also debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, with Your Idol by the Saja Boys entering at No. 77 on the Billboard Hot 100, while Golden by HUNTR/X at No. 81. On Spotify, Golden reached No. 6 on the Daily Top Songs Global chart (June 29), while Your Idol got placed at No. 10. The Saja Boys’ Soda Pop ranked No. 16, HUNTR/X’s How It’s Done was placed No. 17. Its duet Free acquired No. 27 on the same chart.
