All eyes are on Belfast rap trio KNEECAP as they prepare to play their second year at Glastonbury. The West Belfast group, made up of Mo Chara, Mo虂glai虂 Bap and DJ Pro虂vai虂, have been making headlines ahead of the renowned festival after Prime Minister said it was “not appropriate” for the band to perform this year. It comes after Liam O虂g O虂 hAnnaidh, aka Mo Chara, was charged with a terror offence for allegedly displaying a flag in support of Hezbollah at a London gig in November and has since been released on bail. Despite the political backlash, Glastonbury remains steadfast that the show will go on, with festival boss Emily Eavis taking a more inclusive stance, saying “everyone is welcome” at the festival when asked about the PM’s comments on KNEECAP. There were also calls for the BBC, the broadcaster for the event, to pull their coverage of their set however it is believed their iPlayer coverage will continue as planned, reports Somerset Live . Here is what you need to know about KNEECAP at Glastonbury: Fans keen to catch KNEECAP’s Glastonbury set should tune into the West Holts Stage on Saturday, June 28, with their set running from 4pm until 5pm. Glastonbury’s Saturday TV coverage begins at 5pm on BBC 2 which means that KNEECAP’s set will not be broadcast live on TV. BBC iPlayer will be bringing viewers over 90 hours of performances with its live streams of the five main stages – Pyramid, Other, West Holts, Woodsies and The Park. While their full set list won’t be revealed until the event, it’s likely that they will perform a similar line-up to their recent gig at the Wide Awake festival in London. Their set included: Pyramid Stage: John Fogerty 4.30pm until 5.30pm. Other Stage: Weezer 3.30pm until 4.30pm. Woodsies: Nova Twins 4.30pm until 5.30pm. The Park Stage: Lucy Dacus 3.30pm until 4.15pm and Pa Salieu from 4.45pm until 5.30pm. Acoustic Stage: The Bluebells 4.10pm until 4.50pm.
