A 9-year-old girl died in Kerala鈥檚 Kozhikode after succumbing to a rare brain-eating amoeba infection鈥擭aegleria fowleri. Health officials confirmed three reported cases in the district, raising concerns about water safety and public health. The amoeba, found usually in warm freshwater, can cause severe brain infections and is mostly fatal.
