But before their $10M (Rs 85.5 crore) Venice party, the lovebirds reportedly got married a month ago in Italy and signed a mega-million prenup in the US.
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez鈥檚 wedding bash in Venice has already kick-started on June 26 with the presence of many Hollywood A-listers. Contrary to this, a source close to the loverbirds revealed that the couple got married in the US weeks before the Venice ceremonies. However, the city officials backed that up, claiming that no such paperwork had been submitted ahead of the current event. 鈥淥ften, a marriage in a foreign country is not valid in the USA or creates other issues, so yes, it鈥檚 likely they are already married,鈥 a Florida-based attorney said to Page Six.

FYI: Any such legally binding documents of marriage under Italian law are neither recognised nor valid under American law. Adding to this, a city official told The Times of London, 鈥淚 can totally rule out that they will have a civil ceremony in Venice under Italian law.鈥
Meanwhile, another source hinted at Bezos and Lauren鈥檚 secret legal marriage in the US. 鈥淭he marriage is fully legal and took place in America under American law,鈥 a source said to the Daily Mail.
However, Bezos and Lauren鈥檚 representatives haven鈥檛 confirmed anything as of now about the same. Sources also discussed the couple鈥檚 multi-million-dollar prenuptial agreement in Florida, which is not uncommon in Hollywood, with individuals like the CEO of Amazon reportedly having a net worth of around $244 billion. 鈥淟ikewise, if they left Florida and moved to New York as a primary residence, they鈥檇 have to divorce in NY. A prenup can鈥檛 give a state the power to handle a divorce if you don鈥檛 actually live there,鈥 a source explained.
Coming to Bezos and Lauren鈥檚 Venice celebration, it began on June 26 with a lavish welcome dinner for the A-listers on Thursday night with a welcome dinner. The star guest list includes the likes of Kim Kardashian, Oprah, Orlando Bloom, Tom Brady, and even former US President Barack Obama. Additionally, Kylie Jenner was spotted hauling in with her 25 bags reportedly to attend the gala event. All the guests are accommodated in Venice鈥檚 top hotels, including the Gritti Palace, St. Regis, Belmond Cipriani, and Hotel Danieli.
On Friday, a stunning evening was hosted on the San Giorgio Maggiore island featuring private water taxis, streets blocked, drones banned, and cops patrolling over the canals on jet skis. A performance by Matteo Bocelli, and a lavish menu of $1,000 per head, loaded with Venetian classics were also included.
