Jake Paul furiously quits Piers Morgan interview after fat-shaming host

Jake Paul let his emotions get the best of him during Thursday鈥檚 interview with Piers Morgan, ultimately storming off the virtual call in anger.

The YouTuber-turned-professional boxer, 28, spoke with the British host on Piers Morgan Uncensored ahead of his Saturday bout against Julio C茅sar Ch谩vez Jr.

In a teaser clip of the interview shared on YouTube, Morgan, 60, appeared to goad Paul by suggesting that the only 鈥減roper boxer鈥 he鈥檚 ever fought was Tommy Fury 鈥 鈥渁nd he beat you.鈥

鈥淚 think the problem here, Piers, is that you think your opinion matters,鈥 Paul hit back.

Piers further argued that had Paul fought Mike Tyson in his prime, he wouldn鈥檛 have 鈥渓asted 10 seconds.鈥

鈥淭his is not a joke. I鈥檓 knocking out the best of the best,鈥 the influencer argued, before fat-shaming Piers, saying: 鈥淵ou versus going to the gym. You鈥檙e still a fatass.鈥

鈥淚 mean, [Mexican boxer] Canelo 脕lvarez says that he would potentially kill you,鈥 Piers added.

Paul responded angrily, calling 脕lvarez, 34, a 鈥5鈥8 little peon.鈥 鈥淧eople don鈥檛 realize I鈥檓 a real killer. I really f***ing do this s***,鈥 he said.

Elsewhere in the full-length interview, Piers admitted that he thought Paul was 鈥渁 great influencer and great YouTuber,鈥 but questioned Paul鈥檚 abilities in the ring.

Paul didn鈥檛 take the criticism well, telling off Piers.

鈥淥h, I鈥檓 just taking your audience to sell pay-per-views. I don鈥檛 give a f*** about your show, dumbass,鈥 he said in exasperation. 鈥淭his is a f***ing business enterprise. Buy the pay per view on Saturday, June 28, me versus Julio C茅sar Ch谩vez Jr. Thank you, tune in everybody!鈥

Once Paul hung up on the call, Piers said: 鈥淐heers Jake, really enjoyed that, and good luck to Julio 鈥 knock him out for all of us, will you?鈥

Paul鈥檚 fight with Ch谩vez Jr. marks his first of the year. The match comes seven months after he defeated Tyson, 58, by a unanimous decision.

Should he beat Ch谩vez Jr., he could very well earn a ranking, Mauricio Sulaiman, chairman of the World Boxing Council, told Action Network this week.

鈥淲e do have a rankings committee, but I believe he has done enough. He has received all the backlash for several years; if he beats Julio C茅sar Ch谩vez Jr., I think that puts him in a different position,鈥 Sulaiman said.
