‘Jai Jagannath’ Echos Across India As Rath Yatra 2025 Begins In Puri; Wishes, Videos & Pictures Flood Internet

Jagannath Rath Yatra 2025: Odisha’s pilgrim town Puri is currently THE place to be- as one of the most-awaited, hailed and celebrated annual chariot festivals- Jagannath Rath Yatra- has finally begun! The yatra- which preaches Hindu deities Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra- is one of the most significant Hindu festivals that is celebrated annually. Around the festival, the entire town turns into one of the holiest as beautifully decorated wooden chariots carrying the deities- take a round, giving a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ moment to devotees gathered to attend the festival and seek blessings. As the festival began today- Friday, June 27- the same enthusiasm also took over social media, as devotees shared all kinds of wishes, videos, pictures and whatnot. The yatra, on the other hand, begins from the Jagannath Temple. During the yatra, the deities reportedly travel from the Jagannath Temple to Gundicha Temple- here, the Lords stay for nine days before returning back to the Jagannath Temple. Jai Jagannath #RathYatra2025,” a user said. “The divine Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra has set out for the welfare of the entire world. May the blessings of the Lord foster love, unity, and harmony in society — this is the auspicious wish. Jai Jagannath,” added a second person. “May Lord Jagannath, along with His divine family, bless you and your family with divine grace at every step of life on the sacred occasion of the Rath Yatra. Hail Lord Jagannath,” commented a third person. “May Lord Jagannath bless you all with peace, prosperity, and divine strength. Happy Rath Yatra to all,” wrote a fourth person.
