Israeli Airstrike on Gaza Kills Director of Indonesian Hospital

Gaza, July 02 (QNA) – Director of the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza Dr. Marwan Al Sultan was killed Wednesday in an Israeli airstrike that targeted his apartment west of Gaza City.

Qatar News Agency’s (QNA) correspondent, citing medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital in the city, reported that Dr. Al Sultan was martyred as a result of an Israeli airstrike on his apartment near Rashid Street, west of the Tal Al Hawa neighborhood, west of Gaza City.

During the Israeli aggression on Gaza, occupation forces killed and wounded hundreds of Ministry of Health and medical personnel, and arrested others, including hospital directors.

The majority of hospitals and medical clinics were destroyed in a clear and systematic targeting of the health system.

The humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is becoming increasingly complex due to the Israeli occupation’s intransigence in preventing the entry of humanitarian aid to the population, and the continued bombing of all areas, including the remaining medical and service facilities, as well as the tents of displaced people.
