It is one of the most traditional sporting events on the planet, yet this year’s Championships at Wimbledon are embracing technology like never before.
The most visible sign of change is on the court, with the removal of line judges ensuring this year’s tournament is the first time in Wimbledon’s 148-year history that the event has been played without the human eye making crucial calls on court.
