vBuying your first car is a big moment for anyone. But when that car gets into an accident, it becomes a tough experience. Social media influencer Anjali Arora shared such a story through a video on Instagram. Her first car, a white Kia Sonet, was badly damaged in a crash but has now been fully repaired.
In the video, Anjali shows her Kia Sonet with severe damage to the front right side. The bumper, headlight, grille, windshield, fender and other parts were completely destroyed. Both front airbags had also deployed, indicating a serious impact. While the exact cause of the accident wasn鈥檛 revealed, the car was clearly in poor shape. It was first taken to the police station and later to a Kia dealership for repairs.
The video then jumps ahead four months. Anjali is seen visiting the Kia service center to pick up her fully restored car. She checks it out with amazement and places a religious symbol inside. Then she sits behind the wheel and drives out of the dealership, showing her happiness and relief.

As per Cartoq, the Kia Sonet she owns is the first-generation model, launched in October 2020. At the time, it was priced between Rs 6.71 lakh and Rs 11.99 lakh. It came with two petrol and one diesel engine options.
Anjali had reportedly picked the 1.0-litre turbo petrol version with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Although this was her first car, Anjali has since upgraded.
In October 2023, she bought a Toyota Fortuner Legender 4脳2 AT in a pearl white metallic shade, as per reports. This SUV is powered by a 2.8-litre diesel engine producing 201 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. She chose the automatic version for ease of driving.

Anjali isn鈥檛 the only one who owns this powerful SUV. Other popular owners of the Toyota Fortuner Legender include Bollywood actors Riteish Deshmukh, Aamir Khan and Bipasha Basu. The Fortuner is also a favourite among politicians for its strong build and road presence.
Through this journey, Anjali showed that even when things go wrong, they can be fixed with time and effort. Her story of rebuilding her first car has inspired many of her followers online.
