Infinix Unveils Smart 10 Series and Teases World's First Scented Smartphone

Infinix launches its new Smart 10 series featuring impressive displays, large batteries, and IP64 protection. The company also teases the innovative Note 50s 5G+, the world鈥檚 first smartphone with built-in scent technology.

Infinix Smart 10 Series Debuts with Three Feature-Packed Models

In a bid to strengthen its foothold in the competitive budget smartphone market, Infinix has officially launched its latest Smart 10 series, comprising three new models: the Smart 10, Smart 10 Plus, and Smart 10 HD.

All three devices boast expansive 6.67-inch IPS LCD displays with HD+ resolution and peak brightness of up to 700 nits, designed to deliver an immersive visual experience even under bright daylight.

While the Smart 10 HD offers a 90Hz refresh rate, the Smart 10 and Smart 10 Plus go a step further with a 120Hz refresh rate, promising smoother scrolling and more responsive touch interactions.

Under the hood, the entire Smart 10 lineup is powered by the Unisoc T7250 processor, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, ensuring reliable performance for everyday tasks and moderate gaming.

Smart 10 Plus Leads with Bigger Battery and Faster Charging

Among the trio, the Smart 10 Plus stands out with its 6,000mAh battery, supported by 18W fast charging, catering to users who demand long-lasting power. The Smart 10 and Smart 10 HD are equipped with 5,000mAh batteries, albeit with slower charging speeds.

Both the Smart 10 and Smart 10 Plus also feature IP64 protection, offering resistance against dust and water splashes, a welcome addition in this price segment. To add a touch of personalisation, Infinix offers these models in a range of attractive colours.

Infinix Note 50s 5G+ Set to Make Fragrant Debut

In a bold move that merges technology with lifestyle, Infinix has also announced its upcoming Note 50s 5G+, scheduled for its grand premiere on April 18 in India. The device introduces an industry-first feature 鈥 Scent-Tech, a technology that allows the smartphone to emit a light, refreshing fragrance.

The innovation is based on microencapsulation, a process where fragrance molecules are sealed within microscopic capsules embedded in the artificial leather frame of the phone. Over time, these capsules release a subtle scent, designed to last approximately six months, although factors like usage, temperature, and humidity may affect its longevity.

Infinix CEO: “We All Want to Smell Good and Be in a Pleasant Environment”

Explaining the rationale behind this unusual innovation, Anish Kapoor, Infinix鈥檚 CEO for India, stated: 鈥淲e strive to be innovative. One such innovation is this Energizing Scent-Tech. It鈥檚 like having a nice phone, and it also smells good. There is a lot of technology behind it. We all want to smell good and be in a pleasant environment.鈥

With the Smart 10 series offering impressive specs at affordable prices and the Note 50s 5G+ pushing the boundaries of smartphone innovation, Infinix continues to position itself as a brand that blends practicality with bold, user-centric ideas.
