A 21-year-old woman from Bihar has been arrested for allegedly orchestrating the murder of her husband of just 45 days to continue an illicit relationship with her maternal uncle 鈥 a man she had reportedly been involved with for 15 years. The chilling case is reminiscent of past 鈥渉oneymoon murder鈥 plots, including a recent one in Meghalaya where a woman allegedly planned the murder of her husband.According to a report by The Times of India, the woman, identified as Gunja Singh, conspired with her uncle, Jeevan Singh, to eliminate her husband, Priyanshu Kumar Singh.Priyanshu was killed on June 24 while returning from Nabinagar railway station..Initial probeAn initial probe suggested a contract killing, but later the police found the murder had been masterminded by his own wife.Police say the woman and her uncle had been in a 15-year relationship. The others joined in, attacking his head and torso, the police said. Raja鈥檚 body was dragged to a gorge and pushed over.Raja鈥檚 body was discovered on June 2 in a gorge in East Khasi Hills.
