The 2nd edition of I Climate Summit 2025 is being held today (June 27) in Delhi. At the event, Bollywood actress, Climate Warrior and UNDP Advocate Bhumi Pednekar joined for a session, where she spoke about how pop culture can help to increase awareness about the threats of climate change. In conversation with Sneha Dhoundial, Bhumi revealed she is trying her hardest to make things move at her level. Bhumi Pednekar wants films to show characters with sustainable lifestyle During the chat, Bhumi explained that she wants pop culture to influence people. She said, “I want the narrative to become so strong that even in films you see characters that are leading a sustainable lifestyle. Aap hamesha dekhte ho bohot hi hot and happening ladki hai jo bade bade stores me jaake bolti hai ye, ye, ye mujhe sab do. I really hope that narrative changes.” The actress added that she is trying her level best to bring about that change and stated, “I’m trying in my own way that slowly and steadily I can bring about substantial change via scripts and conversations. Lekin jab tak popular culture me aap badlaav nahi dekhoge, tab tak wo penetrate nahi hoga.
