The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection IBPS has issued the notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officers/Management Trainees PO/MT for 2025. The online application process is now open at ibps.in and will continue until July 21 2025.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 5208 vacancies across 11 participating public sector banks including Bank of Baroda Canara Bank Bank of Maharashtra and others. Bank-wise vacancies have been published though some banks are yet to report their final numbers.
The registration and application editing window is open from July 1 to 21. Payment of application fees must also be completed within the same period. Pre-examination training is scheduled for August 2025 followed by the prelims exam and admit card in the same month.
The prelims result will be declared in September 2025 with the mains exam taking place in October. Interviews and personality assessments are expected to conclude by January 2026 followed by provisional allotment.
Eligibility Criteria
A graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university is required.
Candidates must maintain a healthy credit history. At the time of joining the participating banks will verify credit reports from agencies like CIBIL. If a candidatersquos credit report reflects unpaid loans or defaults they must either update the report or submit a No Objection Certificate NOC from the concerned lender. Failure to do so may lead to withdrawal or cancellation of the job offer with the final decision resting with the allotted bank.
To apply candidates must be between 20 and 30 years of age as on July 1 2025 with relaxation in the upper age limit for reserved categories.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 175 for SC/ST/PwBD candidates and Rs 850 for all other applicants.
