Honor has launched a new budget smartphone in India. The new Honor X9c 5G is built using the second iteration of the anti-drop technology which we earlier saw on the Honor X9b. The newly launched smartphone notches up the durability standards with an IP65M rating for dust heat and 360-degree water resistance. As with most smartphones in the market the Honor X9c also offers several AI features.
Honor X9c Specifications & Features
The Honor X9c 5G is equipped with a 6.78-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display supporting up to 120Hz refresh rate. The screen offers up to 4000 nits peak brightness and comes with low blue light T脺V Rheinland certification. The X9c 5G runs on Qualcomms Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 which also powered last years Honor X9b. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
For optics the Honor X9c features a 108MP main camera with f/1.75 aperture optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS) offering 3x lossless zoom. It is coupled with a 5MP f/2.2 wide-angle shooter. On the front the X9c houses a 16MP f/2.45 aperture camera for selfies and video calls.
The Honor X9c draws power from a large 6600mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 66W fast wired charging. In terms of connectivity the device ticks most boxes with support for 5G Wi-Fi GPS NFC and USB Type-C port. Honor X9c runs Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0 out of the box. It supports several AI features like AI Erase AI Deepfake Detection AI Motion Sensing AI Magic Portal 2.0 and AI Magic Capsule.
Honor claims that the X9c 5G smartphone can withstand and function safely in extreme temperatures ranging from -30-degree celsius to 55-degree celsius.
Honor X9c Price in India Offers & Availability
Honor X9c 5G is priced at Rs 21999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model. It will be available in two colours: Titanium Black and Jade Cyan. The device will be sold in India through Amazon. The phone will go on its first sale during the upcoming Prime Day sale scheduled to kick off on July 12.
Customers can avail a limited-time launch offer of Rs 1250 instant discount and Rs 750 bank discount bringing down the effective price to Rs 19999. The offer will be valid till July 14. Honor is also offering a free 1-year extended warranty worth Rs 1099 on the X9c smartphone.
