Actor Deepika Padukone made headlines recently for being selected to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles. Well, it’s a big deal for those who know about the importance of it. Deepika happens to be the second Indian to receive the honour after Sabu Dastagir (an actor who the star in 1960). Deepika will have to pay a mandatory sponsorship fee of Rs 73 lakhs. The amount will be used for designing and creating the terrazzo and brass star. Also, it will be used for its long-term maintenance and cleaning.
