Hamas say it is discussing U.S. cease-fire proposal with other Palestinian factions

Here are the latest updates on day 637 of the war:

â–  Kibbutz Nir Oz is preparing for a possible visit by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday. Anti-government protest groups are calling on people to demonstrate at the kibbutz, one of the hardest hit communities in the October 7 attack, during the visit.

â–  94 Palestinians were killed in airstrikes and shootings overnight in Gaza, including 45 who were attempting to reach humanitarian aid, the Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry and hospital sources said on Thursday, raising the number from 82 reported earlier Thursday morning.

â–  The Hostage and Missing Families Forum published a video that includes portions of a Hamas video published in April of Israeli hostages Maxim Herkin and Bar Kupershtein.

â–  The members of a terrorist cell that launched rockets at Israel on Wednesday from the northern Gaza Strip were killed in an air force attack, the IDF reported.

â–  Hamas expressed satisfaction with the wording of the new proposal for a Gaza cease-fire deal, but continues to take issue with several points, including the entry of aid to the Strip and the withdrawal of Israeli troops, according to the Saudi Asharq News. The report says Hamas is expected to submit an official response to the proposal by Friday evening.

â–  The proposed cease-fire deal between Israel and Hamas would see the terrorist group release 10 of the remaining living hostages and return the bodies of 18 deceased hostages it holds in five stages over a 60-day period, according to a report from The New York Times.

â–  The IDF and Shin Bet security service said on Wednesday that the Israel Air Force killed two Hamas terrorists who were involved in the killing of seven soldiers last week.
