Grievances redress meeting for Defence pensioners in Tiruchi on June 30

A grievances redress meeting for Defence pensioners will be held in Tiruchi on June 30.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to participate in the meeting at the Army Training Grounds at Mannarpuram from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the day.

According to District Collector C. Dinesh Kumar, ex-servicemen and their families, dependants are invited to attend the meeting to redress their pension-related grievances. The day will also witness the Defence Minister flagging off five vehicles that would be deployed to villages for addressing the grievances on the pensioner’s portals.

The vehicle will arrive in Krishnagiri on July 7 and 8. Ex-servicemen may participate with their service cards, Aadhaar card, pension orders and other documents at the Ex-servicemen Welfare Office to redress their grievances.
