Gov Yusuf Makes Seven New Appointments Into Key Positions In Kano

Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano has appointed seven new officials to key government agencies to boost governance and service delivery.

The announcement was made Friday via a statement issued by the Director-General, Media and Publicity, Sunusi Bature.

Dr. Bashir Muzakkar was named Director-General of the Kano State Information and Communication Technologies Development Agency. Prior to this, he served as Special Adviser on Digital and Creative Economy.

Other appointees include Kabiru Dakata as Director-General, State Advert and Signage Agency; Dr. Fatima Abubakar as Director-General, State Social Protection Agency; Isyaku

Umar-Kwa as Deputy Managing Director, State Housing Corporation; Hamisu Danzaki as Executive Secretary, State Scholarship Board; Isma鈥檌l Nasarawa as Provost, Anti-Corruption Institute; and Mohammed Gabasawa as Commandant, Corporate Security Institute.

Governor Yusuf expressed full confidence in their capacities to contribute meaningfully to his government鈥檚 goals.
