Google has given its Gemini app a fresh new look鈥攁nd some useful upgrades too. The latest update brings a redesigned app icon along with new features for both Android and iOS users. A Bold New Look for GeminiThe updated Gemini logo now matches the design language of other Google apps. It features the brand’s iconic four-color scheme鈥攔ed, yellow, green, and blue鈥攚ith a modern twist. The mainly blue icon now has a smooth gradient on the center-left, similar to the classic Google “G” logo. Its rounded edges and larger size within the white circular background make the app feel more welcoming and visually aligned with Google’s current aesthetic. What鈥檚 New for Android UsersAndroid users will see the biggest functional changes. The Gemini widget has been upgraded to include new shortcuts for Video and Screenshare, making it easier to start a call or share your screen straight from the home screen. iPhone Users Get Smarter SearchWhile iOS users don鈥檛 get the new widget yet, they do receive a new conversation search feature. This makes it easier to revisit past chats鈥攑erfect for those who use Gemini for work or detailed discussions.
