Google has launched a simple version of its Calendar app for Apple Watch. This means users can now check their upcoming events and tasks directly from their wrist. However, this version has limited features and doesn’t allow you to create or edit events on the watch. What You Can Do:View your weekly events and tasksGet reminders with time, title, and locationMark tasks as doneDelete or respond to eventsYou can tap on any event or task to see a little more detail, but for full information or edits, you鈥檒l still need to use your iPhone. Design and Compatibility:Works with watchOS 11.0 or later Clean, scrollable list view with colour-coded events Two watch face options: 鈥淲hat鈥檚 next鈥 鈥 shows your next event鈥淭oday鈥檚 date鈥 鈥 shows the current day and dateThese features are simple but useful for quick glances. The app looks like Google Calendar on Android watches and fits well with Apple Watch鈥檚 design. Limitations:Unlike Apple鈥檚 native Calendar app, this version doesn鈥檛 show a full-month view or let you customise the layout. It also doesn鈥檛 allow you to add or change events directly from the watch. This move shows that Google is slowly returning to the Apple Watch platform. Along with Calendar, only Google Keep, Maps, and YouTube Music are currently available. If you only need to check events or mark tasks done, this new app is a handy tool鈥攂ut for more, you鈥檒l still need your phone.
