Cricket stars from around the world will swap stadium lights for Guyana鈥檚 natural wonders as part of a unique pre-tournament initiative by the ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League T20 (GSLT20). The league鈥檚 international players will explore the country鈥檚 eco-tourism sites and connect with local communities in a countrywide tour set for the first two weeks of July.
The initiative begins with a symbolic group trip to the iconic Kaieteur Falls, one of the world鈥檚 tallest single-drop waterfalls, uniting players from all teams in a shared experience of Guyana鈥檚 natural beauty.
Teams will then branch out across the country. Bangladesh鈥檚 Rangpur Riders will travel through Region Seven, cruising the Essequibo River and visiting Baganara Island. New Zealand鈥檚 Central Stags will tour Georgetown on bicycles, visiting monuments, tasting local dishes, and engaging with residents.
