Paris Graduate School of Management (PGSM) alumni in Ghana will introduce an accredited Executive Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) program on June 28 at Accra鈥檚 Coconut Grove Regency Hotel.
The ESG France-developed program holds Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) recognition, offering senior professionals a locally accessible terminal degree amid Ghana鈥檚 crackdown on fraudulent PhD credentials.
The initiative, championed by PGSM鈥檚 Ghana alumni association, partners with Renfrew University College to deliver the curriculum tailored for West African executives. Program directors Professor Parber (ESG International Programs) and Dr. Jos茅 Rizel (Executive DBA Dean) will headline the launch event themed 鈥淩eunite, Resolve, Relaunch.鈥
Alumni president Hugh Aryee positioned the DBA as advancing Ghana鈥檚 executive education standards while strengthening professional networks. The program鈥檚 GTEC validation distinguishes it from honorary doctorates currently under regulatory scrutiny.
Key context: Ghana鈥檚 tertiary regulator GTEC has intensified verification of doctoral credentials since 2024, revoking fraudulent qualifications.
