Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) continues to strengthen community ties through sports with the fifth anniversary of its “GEG Run with a Partner Training Program,” co-organized with Macau Special Olympics (MSO).
Launched in 2021, the program pairs GEG Runner’s Club members with MSO athletes for regular long-distance training and participation in events such as the Galaxy Entertainment Macao International Marathon, promoting inclusivity in sports.
To celebrate this milestone, GEG and MSO expanded outreach efforts, introducing the program to nearly 1,500 teachers, students, social service members, and GEG staff.
A kickoff ceremony was held at Broadway Macau, attended by government officials, MSO representatives, and local social service organizations.
MSO National Director Siu Yu Hong praised GEG’s ongoing support, highlighting how the program has helped athletes build confidence and exceed their limits. Participants undergo months-long training, focusing on teamwork, pacing, and marathon preparation.
