Headlined by Priyamani, the upcoming courtroom drama delves into the life of Tarunika, a middle-aged woman and lawyer-turned-housewife, whose world turns upside down when her husband is caught in a scandal.
2. The Hunt: The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case – SonyLIV
The Hunt: The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case is a gripping drama that brings the horrific assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. Based on Anirudhya Mitra’s investigative memoir Ninety Days, the series also sheds light on the CBI’s 90-day investigation following the 1991 suicide bombing in Tamil Nadu. The ensemble cast of the upcoming series includes Amit Sial, Sahil Vaid, Bagavathi Perumal, and Girish Sharma, among others.
3. In The Lost Lands – Lionsgate Play
An adaptation of George RR Martin’s short story of the same name, the action-packed fantasy movie follows a powerful sorceress, who journeys across a dangerous landscape with a hunter in search of an artifact that could transform a person into a werewolf. Directed by Paul W. S. Anderson, the movie stars Milla Jovovich and Dave Bautista in lead roles.
4. Kaalidhar Laapata – ZEE5
Starring Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role, this upcoming slice-of-life movie tells the story of an elderly man, who escapes his family after overhearing their plan to abandon him. Soon, he sets out on a road trip across the country to fulfill his wishes on the bucket list. On the journey, he is joined by Ballu, an eight-year-old free-spirited orphaned boy.
5. Uppu Kappurambu – Amazon Prime Video
This Telugu satirical comedy movie follows Apoorva, a young and newly appointed village leader, who forms an unlikely alliance with the graveyard custodian named Chinna to find a solution to a bizarre dilemma — freeing up burial space at the village cemetery. The upcoming movie is headlined by Keerthy Suresh and Suhas.
