Ajman: The Ajman Transport Authority has signed a new partnership with Skyports Infrastructure, a global leader in building take-off and landing zones for flying vehicles. The goal? To explore how flying taxis and other smart aerial solutions could one day become part of everyday life in the emirate..UAE’s upcoming “hybrid heliport” can be used for helicopters, flying taxis.The agreement was signed by Omar Mohammed Lootah, director general of Ajman Transport, and Daniel O’Neill, general manager of Skyports in the Middle East. It’s a strategic move aimed at shaping a modern, efficient, and high-tech transport network that keeps up with global trends and meets the needs of Ajman’s growing community..UAE’s first flying taxi vertiport, DXV, to be located near Dubai Airport.As part of the agreement, the two sides will work together on research, studies, and planning for smart air mobility.
