A father鈥檚 extraordinary bravery saved his 10-year-old daughter from a potentially fatal encounter with two venomous snakes. In a scene that could be straight out of a movie, young Saloni Kumari spent the entire night asleep, unaware that two poisonous snakes were wrapped around her neck. The startling discovery was made by her mother the next morning when she went to wake her daughter and saw the reptiles coiled around her neck.
Reacting instantly to his wife鈥檚 screams, Raju Kumar Kesari, Saloni鈥檚 father, rushed into the room. Without a moment鈥檚 hesitation and disregarding his own safety, he grabbed the snakes with his hands and killed them by squeezing their mouths. Saloni, still in a deep sleep, remained unharmed throughout the ordeal, thanks to her father鈥檚 quick and courageous actions.
The incident, which took place in their village, has led to widespread admiration for Raju鈥檚 heroism. He is being hailed as a 鈥渞eal hero鈥 for saving his daughter from the jaws of death. Following the incident, Saloni was taken to the nearest community health centre and later referred to Magadh Medical College for further tests to ensure she had not been harmed. Fortunately, doctors confirmed that Saloni was in good health, much to the relief of her family.
The girl鈥檚 father, Raju Kumar Kesari, said, 鈥淭he incident happened on Sunday night. Everyone had gone to sleep after dinner. When Saloni鈥檚 mother woke up in the morning, she saw two snakes wrapped around the girl鈥檚 neck. She started screaming upon seeing the scene. Hearing her, I immediately ran into the room. The girl was sleeping soundly, and both snakes were coiled around her neck.鈥
鈥淚 immediately told my wife to hold the girl while I caught the snakes,鈥 he added. The woman held the girl鈥檚 legs to prevent her from thrashing. Then, the father caught both snakes by their mouths and crushed them while they were still wrapped around her neck.
