FASTag pass for Rs 3000: There are going to be many big changes in the toll tax rules, after which the toll tax will become cheaper for the people. Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has announced this and told that now people will get FASTag pass for the whole year, which will give a lot of relief to the common people in toll tax. FASTag pass will be made for Rs 3000
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari posted on his social media platform X and announced that now people will be able to get FASTag pass for Rs 3000, which will be active for the whole year and up to 200 trips. This new facility can be implemented from 15 August 202. Nitin Gadkari wrote in his post that 鈥淎s a historic initiative, a FASTag based annual pass worth Rs 3000 will be introduced from 15 August 2025. This pass will be valid for one year or 200 trips from the date of activation.鈥

This FASTag pass is made only for non-commercial private vehicles like cars, jeeps and vans etc., which will make travel easier on national highways across the country. Apart from this, Nitin Gadkari said in his post that the new FASTag pass facility will align the long-standing concerns about toll plazas located within a radius of 60 km and will make toll payment easier through a single accessible transaction. Along with this, the arrival of the new FASTag pass will also help in reducing waiting time and congestion at the toll plaza.

Soon people can get this new FASTag pass from the Highway Travel App and NHAI / MoRTH websites.
