They Call Him OG is a special film for Emraan as it鈥檚 his first Telugu film. He鈥檒l be seen in an important role of Om Bhau, presumably as the antagonist. The film is helmed by Sujeeth, best known for directing Saaho, and features Telugu superstar and current Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. It also stars Priyanka Mohan, Prakash Raj, and Sriya Reddy, with music composed by the sensational S Thaman.
Produced by Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under the prestigious banner of DVV Entertainment, known for blockbuster hits like RRR, OG is touted as one of the most-awaited films of 2025.
Emraan Hashmi was recently seen in the military drama Ground Zero, where his intense performance was widely appreciated. He鈥檚 got a packed slate of exciting projects coming up 鈥 including a film based on the landmark Shah Bano case alongside Yami Gautam, a sequel to his much-loved 2007 film Awarapan, and Goodachari 2, a Telugu action thriller headlined by Adivi Sesh.
Meanwhile, They Call Him OG is all set to hit theatres on September 25 this year. But before that, fans can look forward to Pawan Kalyan鈥檚 long-delayed Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which is finally releasing on July 24.
