Emma Stone Can’t Help But Gush Over Pedro Pascal: ‘He’s Talented, Nice And Funny’

With his impressive performances and unconventional fashion statements, Pedro Pascal has become one of the most notable names in Hollywood today. Not just his fans, but even celebrities have become his die-hard admirers. Among them is Pedro’s co-star Emma Stone. The 36-year-old actress and producer has nothing but praise for the Last of Us star, who is also famously called the internet’s favourite ‘zaddy’.
During her latest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Emma, who stars alongside the 50-year-old actor in Eddington, told the host, Diego Luna, that Pedro “is so wonderful.” She gushed over him, saying, “He’s talented, gorgeous, nice, funny,” before cheekily adding, “I’d f–k him.” The actress also talked about the viral moment from the premiere event of Eddington at the Cannes Film Festival this year.
In a clip, Emma visibly panicked when a bee came close to her face. Her co-stars, Pedro and Austin Butler, were seen trying to blow the insect away from her face. When the show’s host jokingly said that Austin might have planted the bee as a prank, Emma pointed her finger towards Pedro, saying, “I almost guarantee you, if anyone brought the bee, it was Pedro… He probably unleashed that bee.”
During their conversation, the actress and the host also discussed how 2025 is the busiest year for Pedro Pascal. The 50-year-old actor’s filmography for this year includes the second season of HBO’s The Last of Us, the rom-com Materialists (running theatrically now), Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps (scheduled to be released on July 25) and Eddington (releasing on July 18), alongside other Star Wars and Marvel projects. Reacting to his list of releases this year, Emma said, “He’s everywhere. I guess it’s not a Pedro-ssance. It’s the Pedro takeover.”
Speaking of Eddington, the action comedy film written and directed by Ari Aster tells the story of the COVID-19 pandemic era. It follows “a standoff between a small-town sheriff and mayor” that “sparks a powder keg as neighbour is pitted against neighbour in Eddington, New Mexico.” Besides Emma and Pedro, the film also features Joaquin Phoenix, Luke Grimes, Deirdre O’Connell, Michael Ward, Amélie Hoeferle, Clifton Collins Jr., William Belleau, and Austin Butler.
Apart from Eddington, Emma also has the sci-fi film Bugonia, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, in the pipeline.
