Eamonn Holmes' pricey new project as he goes through divorce with Ruth Langsford

Eamonn Holmes is flogging £65 tickets for a chat about his television career whilst embroiled in divorce proceedings with estranged wife Ruth Langsford. The former telly power couple have enlisted top solicitors as they battle to carve up their fortune with Eamonn forced to fork out a hefty sum for a rental property after moving out of the £3.6million Surrey family home where Ruth continues to live. The 65-year-old GB News presenter, who is now dating marriage guidance counsellor Katie Alexander will appear before a live audience in Hertfordshire later this year for a show titled 45 Years in Showbiz – An Evening with Eamonn Holmes. The divorcing Loose Women presenter has secured a severance of joint tenancy on their six-bedroom property, purchased in 2014. This legal manoeuvre, disclosed in public records, ensures that should Ruth pass away, her share of the Weybridge home would not transfer to Eamonn. The pair, who first met in 1997, welcomed son Jack in 2002 before marrying in 2010 and relocating to the private estate property four years afterwards. Their separation was announced last year. Recently, Eamonn revealed his formula for maintaining a “happy relationship” during his GB News programme, explaining that political alignment with one’s partner is crucial for him. Speaking with Ellie Costello about her spouse, he said: “Would his politics and would his views on things have influenced you in some way?” She replied: “Not initially, no, but we do have the same politics. I think it makes life easier if you do. What about you? What do you think?” Eamonn agreed, adding that “any partners” he has ever had “think the same as me.”
