India鈥檚 aviation regulator, the DGCA, has directed airlines operating most Boeing aircraft variants to inspect the locking mechanism of fuel control switches by July 21. The move follows preliminary findings in the crash investigation of an Air India Boeing 787 last month, which revealed that the fuel control switches had moved to the 鈥渃utoff鈥 position just before impact, shutting off fuel supply to both engines.
