Delhi Police Issues Travel Advisory Ahead Of Lord Jagannath's Rath Yatra | Check Routes

The Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory in view of the 47th Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath on Friday. Due to the procession, traffic movement will be regulated and diverted on Aurobindo Marg and adjoining stretches in Hauz Khas from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Commuters are advised to plan their route in advance and avoid the affected areas to minimise delays. The Delhi Police has suggested alternate routes for commuters coming from Mehrauli and Gurugram via Aurobindo Marg.
Restricted stretches include IIT Flyover to AIIMS Loop, with possible congestion on Outer Ring Road, Ring Road and August Kranti Marg.

The Delhi Police has urged people to cooperate and follow traffic rules to avoid any inconvenience.
The religious procession, being organised by Sree Neelachala Seva Sangha, is expected to draw large crowds. The Delhi Traffic Police has urged motorists to avoid the affected zones and plan their routes accordingly.
Emergency services such as ambulances, fire brigades, and Delhi Police vehicles will be allowed through restricted zones, but are advised to avoid Aurobindo Marg to prevent delays.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended greetings to citizens on the occasion of Puri Rath Yatra on Friday.
