Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone has added another feather to her illustrious cap by becoming the first Indian actor to be named among the honourees for the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2026 in the Motion Pictures category.
This historic announcement places her alongside global luminaries like Emily Blunt Timotheacutee Chalamet Demi Moore Rachel McAdams Rami Malek and Stanley Tucci.
A Historic Moment for Indian Cinema
According to India Today The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce unveiled the list during a live broadcast revealing the names of 35 iconic personalities chosen from hundreds of nominations. The selections were finalized at a panel meeting on June 20 and approved by the Chamberrsquos board of directors.
ldquoWe are excited to announce the newest selectionshellip part of the prestigious Class of 2026rdquo said Peter Roth former CEO of Warner Bros. Television and chairman of the Walk of Fame selection committee.

This honour cements Padukonersquos position as a trailblazer on the global stage. In 2018 she was featured in TIMErsquos 100 Most Influential People and later received the TIME100 Impact Award for her advocacy on mental health.
