Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM) has partnered with Marquee Semiconductors to improve the semiconductor technology curriculum, in order to enhance students’ skills and ensure their quick placements in reputed companies, shared D.N. Rao, Vice President of the University which has campuses in Vizianagaram and Odisha.
Dr. Rao, along with other faculty members took part in the three-day Design Automation conference held between June 22 and 25 in San Francisco, United States.
Dr. Rao and representatives of the Marquee Semiconductors signed an agreement to ensure hands-on experience for CUTM students in cutting-edge design automation tools.
Dr. Rao said that the partnership would enable the University to become a global skill provider in future technologies. He added that CUTM was the only Indian university to have had the opportunity to showcase its strengths on a prestigious international platform, with regard to the requirements of the semiconductor and design automation industry.
