The countdown to the Ar-tiste Managers Association of Nigeria (AMAN) 30th anniversary and the sec-ond edition of the AMAN Awards 2025 has just begun, with members expecting the event to be bigger and better than ever.
The AMAN @30 anniver-sary and awards ceremony is scheduled for November 26th, 2025, at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
AMAN is the umbrella body that unites all artiste managers in Nigeria, and it is open to artists of all genres as well as creative industry operatives looking to im-prove their skills as profes-sional artiste managers.
In a chat with AMAN President, Collins Ifeanyi Onwuneme Ajereh Enebeli a.k.a. Mavin Grandpa World-wide (MGW) at AMAN Lekki Lagos secretariat, he hinted that the 2025 AMAN 30th an-niversary and awards will be bigger than other past events.
Continuing, Mavin Grandpa Worldwide stat-ed that all artiste manag-ers in Nigeria, as well as those seeking to enter the profession, are expected to register and join AMAN to participate in the movement to network, collaborate, and discuss modern trends in artiste management, which will contribute to the de-velopment of a fitting and professional artiste man-agement culture in Nigeria.
We intend to continue to use the AMAN platform to gain a deeper understanding of the business of managing artists and other creatives.
Mavin Grandpa went on to explain that AMAN, which is in its 30th year of existence, has helped many artiste managers and those with such aspirations real-ise their ambition of doing what they have chosen to do best.
He emphasised that ar-tiste management is a highly complex business that only those with the necessary ed-ucation and expertise can ex-cel at. It is a serious dynamic business management effort that employs the activation of social science skills, which is why we continue to rally everyone interested in pursuing a successful career in this field.
An artiste manager is a business manager who pulls in all arms of business ad-ministration and manage-ment, including finance and investment, marketing, accounting, statistics, man-agement, and so on for the benefit of his artiste and, ultimately, himself because of his large investment.
AMAN’s three-decade an-niversary event in Novem-ber 2025 will be marked by several laudable programs, including a keynote lecture, workshops, project unveil-ing, and an award ceremony accompanied by live music entertainment and other ac-tivities.
