TWO PEOPLE HAVE died and children are among 14 people who have been wounded by Russian strikes in Ukraine鈥檚 city of Odessa this morning.
Odessa鈥檚 governor Oleg Kiper confirmed the strikes this morning in a post to Telegram and said rescuers are working to save those trapped under rubble.
He detailed that the strikes hit residential buildings in the city and that three children were injured in the attack.
Moscow launched drone and missile attacks on Ukraine as peace talks initiated by the US have stalled. Russia has demanded Ukraine cede more land and give up Western military support as a precondition to peace, something Kyiv deems unacceptable.

Authorities in Ukraine鈥檚 southern Kherson region said one person was killed, and three others were wounded, in Russian strikes over the past day. Moscow targeted critical and social infrastructure as well as residential areas, governor Oleksandr Prokudin said.
Tens of thousands of people have been killed in Russia鈥檚 offensive, which has forced millions from their homes and devastated much of eastern Ukraine.
Ukraine has launched retaliatory strikes on Russia throughout the war.
The Russian defence ministry said on Saturday its air defence had shot down 31 Ukrainian drones overnight.
