Wednesday, July 23, 2025 – CCTV footage has captured
the moment a group of thugs broke into a parked Subaru vehicle in broad
daylight in Diani, Kwale County, making away with an undisclosed amount of cash
within seconds.
The incident, which occurred near a local business premise,
unfolded in a matter of seconds.
In the video, a salon car is seen pulling up beside the
parked Subaru.
A man steps out and breaks into the Subaru in seconds,
before making away with an envelope containing money.
He then jumps back into their getaway car and speeds off
before any bystanders can react.
The entire operation was so fast and discreet that no one
realized what had happened until it was too late.
It is believed that the thugs had been trailing the victim.
Police are currently analyzing the CCTV footage to identify
the suspects and the vehicle used in the heist.
