CBSE Begins Application For National Teachers' Award 2025, Register By July 6

CBSE Teacher Award 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened applications for the National Teacher Award 2025. Teachers or principals of a CBSE-recognised private independent school can apply for the award. It recognises teachers who are shaping the future of children through innovative methods and a passion for education. The deadline for application submission is July 6, 2025.

National Teacher Award 2025: Application Process
The application process is entirely online. Follow the below steps:
Step 1 — Visit the official CBSE website at cbseit.in.
Step 2 — There, candidates will find a self-nomination form where they need to provide information about your educational achievements, experience, and contributions.
Step 3 — Teachers must present their accomplishments so the selection committee can fully appreciate their work.
National Teacher Award 2025: Selection Process
The selection process for the National Teacher Award 2025 consists of two phases. In the first phase, a merit list will be prepared based on the teacher’s application. If selected for the merit list, he or she will be called for an interview in the second phase. During the interview, their educational achievements, innovative teaching methods, and contributions will be thoroughly evaluated. This process is designed to be fair and transparent to ensure the most deserving teachers receive this honour.

National Teacher Award: What Happened Last Year?
Last year, 82 teachers bagged the National Teachers Award. Among them, two were from Uttar Pradesh, two from Madhya Pradesh, and two teachers from Bihar. Each award carries a certificate of merit, a cash award of Rs 50,000 and a silver medal. The awardees would also get an opportunity to interact with the prime minister.
