Car raided by thieves while parked at cemetery in North Wales village

A car parked at a North Wales cemetery was targeted by thieves. The vehicle was left at Hawarden Cemetery last Wednesday evening.

While the owner was away from the car, a window was smashed and cash and other items were stolen. Police have appealed for information.

This includes any information people have on a white Audi A4 seen in the area at the time.

North Wales Police said: “We鈥檙e asking for the public鈥檚 help following an incident of criminal damage and theft from a vehicle on Wednesday, 2nd July, at Hawarden Cemetery, Ash Lane at around 18:36pm.

“A vehicle was broken into after the window was smashed, and cash and other items were stolen.

“We are particularly interested in any witnesses who saw or heard suspicious activity, anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area and information about a white Audi A4 seen nearby around the time.
