BikeWo GreenTech Ltd has signed a strategic MoU with Commerce Forever to bring electric vehicle (EV)-based delivery operations to Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and nearby areas.
The goal is greener last-mile logistics and empowered rural delivery partners.
What Is The Agreement All About?
As part of the agreement, BikeWo will lease between 1,500 and 2,500 electric two-wheelers to delivery agents working within Commerce Forever鈥檚 B2B supply chain.
This shift to electric transport is expected to cut down 547 tonnes of carbon emissions and reduce logistics costs across the region.
Tech to Support Green Delivery
The two companies will jointly invest in digital platforms to speed up rider onboarding, optimise delivery routes, and streamline fleet management. These upgrades will make the system not only more sustainable but also smarter and more cost-effective.
What The Top Officials Have to Say?
Mr Manideep Katepalli, Managing Director of BikeWo, called the move 鈥淭his partnership is not limited to vehicle leasing for us, but we believe it鈥檚 a holistic, technology-led approach to green commerce. We鈥檙e merging clean mobility, digital logistics, and rural skilling into one impactful model.鈥
Sanjay Kumar Gupta, Partner at Commerce Forever, added, 鈥淲e鈥檙e excited about this partnership. It fulfills our ambition to redefine last-mile delivery as cleaner, smarter, and more inclusive, and it aligns with India鈥檚 decarbonisation goals. We aim to build future-ready logistics while also empowering communities.鈥
The collaboration isn鈥檛 just about clean mobility鈥攊t also aims to uplift rural communities. Regional skill development centres will be set up to train young people in EV operations, safety practices, and modern logistics technologies. This training will not only make them job-ready but also support India鈥檚 push towards clean mobility.
India鈥檚 last-mile delivery market is expected to reach $6鈥7 billion by 2027. With the e-commerce sector growing fast and the shift to electric vehicles gaining pace, such partnerships are key to solving challenges of pollution and delivery efficiency together.
