Max Verstappen hit out at McLaren rival Oscar Piastri after suffering a major spin in the British Grand Prix.
Under a safety car restart, Piastri was leading the field, with Verstappen in P2, when the safety car sped away so the McLaren ace could restart the race in his own time.
But as the safety car returned to the pits, Piastri slowed down to back the pack up, seeing Verstappen go flying past him as he attempted to break in the tough intermediate tyre conditions.
In a chaotic weather-impacted race at Silverstone, the safety car was called out for the umpteenth time.
Isack Hadjar suffered a terrifying crash as he drove into the back of Kimi Antonelli’s Mercedes in a virtually blind collision in treacherous conditions.
