After more than eight years of their legal fight, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie settled their highly publicized divorce. As per People magazine, Jolie’s lawyers confirmed on December 30, 2024, that both parties have agreed to terms, marking a significant chapter in the protracted legal saga that began when Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016. Jolie and Pitt had been married for two years and together for 12 before their relationship came to an end. Now, sources have revealed that the F1 actor is is finally facing the regrets and lessons from his ‘failed’ marriage to JLo. Brad Pitt ‘Regrets’ Divorcing Angelina Jolie? According to the source, putting the divorce behind him is a relief for Pitt, but it remains difficult because his bond with his kids is not strong. “The divorce is something that had been controlling his life for so many years. He loved her and he knows he made mistakes,鈥 a source told Us Weekly. “It was such a divisive, toxic situation,” the insider added of their divorce that took eight years to finalize. “The events surrounding their split 鈥 like the 2016 plane incident and his battle with alcoholism turned the kids against him. However, he doesn鈥檛 blame [Jolie] for everything,” the source added. “His biggest regret is that he can鈥檛 repair this, the case is over but there are no winners. To have that behind him is a relief. But on the other hand, it鈥檚 been hard for him because he doesn鈥檛 have a great relationship with his kids,” the insider concluded.
