Boots customers are raving about a ‘spectacular’ Versace fragrance deal that’s currently available as part of the retailer’s latest round of discount. The luxury scent, which typically commands premium prices, has been slashed by more than 拢50 from its original cost.
The high street health and beauty shop is currently running a massive sale across a range of perfumes and aftershaves, with reductions of up to 50% and beyond. Originally priced at 拢78 for a 100ml bottle, Boots is offering The Dreamer by Versace online for just 拢25 – a 67% saving.
The designer label’s Dreamer Eau de Toilette comes in an elegant glass bottle, boasting an “alluring, sensual and comforting” scent profile, reports the Mirror. The fragrance pairs aromatic florals with “deep and rich notes of amber” to deliver a ‘distinctly masculine’ aroma.
Other beauty retailers are also featuring competitive fragrance offers – including HUGO Just Different For Him Eau de Toilette at Superdrug (was 拢58, now 拢27). There’s also the Davidoff Adventure Eau de Toilette at The Perfume Shop (down from 拢66 to 拢27.99).
However, Boots shoppers have been singing Dreamer Eau de Toilette’s praises. One satisfied Boots shopper said: “This, like other Versace perfumes, is a beautiful, long-lasting fragrance at a very good price.”
Another customer added: “Fantastic. It’s lovely for daytime or evening events.” A third reviewer wrote: “This fragrance is top class, it takes my breath away. I love the smell so much.”
However, not all customers were convinced of the value. One buyer claimed: “Not the best aftershave I’ve ever bought. It doesn’t last that long.” Another customer voiced their disappointment, adding: “This fragrance has been reformulated so much that it bears no resemblance to the original at all! It has no longevity or anything.”
Despite these critiques, many shoppers still awarded it top marks. A different user shared their positive experience: “For the price, this is a great fragrance. Wore it on a trip to Paris and got loads of compliments. Smells more expensive than it is.”
Another satisfied customer commented: “Great smell and excellent price. I would recommend as I’ve had loads of compliments about how nice it is.”

Ordinarily retailing at 拢83 for a 100ml bottle, shoppers can now bag it for just 拢24.
