BLINKs, your wait is over as BLACKPINK is all set to make their comeback to the stage after a hiatus of two years. To take the excitement surrounding their return a notch higher, the group also teased their comeback song just a day before embarking on their Deadline world tour. On Friday, July 4, the group unveiled the 17-second clip through the official social media accounts of BLACKPINK.
The video teases a new song by the quartet, which, as previously confirmed by their agency, YG Entertainment, will debut during their two-day show in South Korea. Titled READY TO JUMP, the brief clip features upbeat music, which ends with all four members, Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa and Rose, hyping up fans and ending with the question, 鈥淎re you ready to jump?鈥
BLACKPINK says the word 鈥渏ump鈥 in Korean, seemingly hinting that their new song might be about it. Even the hashtags of the post contain the word 鈥渏ump,鈥 which led fans to believe it was a teaser for their new song. If it鈥檚 true, then it would be BLACKPINK鈥檚 first new music release in nearly two years and eight months, following their studio album Born Pink in 2022.

Earlier, YG Entertainment confirmed that BLACKPINK will be releasing a new song at the first two shows of their upcoming world tour. As quoted by AllKpop, they stated, 鈥淭he new song will be performed for the first time at the concerts held on July 5 and 6 at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium.鈥 YG鈥檚 Executive Producer, Yang Hyun Suk, further explained why they decided to unveil the new song at the concert, instead of the traditional way.
The Executive Producer said, 鈥淭here was a lot of discussion about how to release the new song, and we ultimately decided to unveil it first at the Goyang concert, which marks the beginning of the world tour and a symbolic moment to reconnect with the fandom.鈥
Deadline World Tour would mark BLACKPINK鈥檚 comeback as a group after their last record-breaking Born Pink World Tour (2022-2023), which sold over 1.8 million tickets across 66 shows. The tour, which is their first all-stadium one, will begin on July 5 at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea, followed by a number of shows in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. BLACKPINK will be concluding their much-awaited tour in January 2026 at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, China.
