BJP鈥檚 Annamalai Offers Ashlesha Bali Seva at Kukke Subrahmanya Temple

Subrahmanya: Senior BJP leader and former IPS officer K. Annamalai visited the revered Sri Kshetra Kukke Subrahmanya temple located in Kadaba Taluk, Dakshina Kannada district, to offer prayers and perform special rituals.

Annamalai, accompanied by his family members, had darshan of Lord Subrahmanya and participated in the Ashlesha Bali Seva, a significant ritual performed to seek relief from Sarpa Dosha (afflictions related to serpents), believed to be powerful at this sacred site.

The ritual was held at the Subrahmanya Mutt, where Annamalai performed the Ashlesha Bali Pooja under the Ashlesha Nakshatra, considered an auspicious time for such offerings. The service is traditionally sought by devotees to overcome challenges, ill health, and family-related obstacles.

The temple, nestled in the scenic Western Ghats, is one of the most important pilgrimage centers in Karnataka, attracting thousands of devotees year-round. The presence of a national political figure has drawn attention to the temple鈥檚 spiritual and cultural significance.

Officials and temple staff facilitated the rituals and ensured smooth arrangements for the visiting dignitary.
